I’m delighted to have seven paintings included in Palette Unlimited, presented by the Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC), opening this weekend!
Panel 247: Echoes from the Sea, Fell In Love with a Sailor, Whispered By a Mermaid, Hydroelectric
I thought about the places where my imagination is the freest and most expansive, and I realized I feel most alive when entranced by the mysteries and curiosities of the garden and the sea. Using the vulnerability and resilience of these environments as parallels for the interior of the mind and heart, these paintings explore themes of protection, reconciliation, healing, and sublimation. This work has never been exhibited in public before, and I am pleased to include three new pieces made this summer.

Palette Unlimited is on view every weekend July 29 through August 20, 1-6pm with an opening reception this Saturday and performances every weekend.

I am consistently amazed by the quality and originality of art shown at the BWAC pier shows. It truly is an honor to show along with such lovely, wildly creative people, and Palette Unlimited looks to be just stellar. Hope to see you there!
